Another FO (finished object)

Another FO (Finished Object)

This Shawl is made from Lion Brand Yarn, medium wt (4), 100% acrylic, "Vanna's Choice". I used only the fl (front loop) on each row to make it more drapeable. The whole shawl is crochetd in one piece (no seams). I used a small plastic hair clasp for buttons. This shawl is very warm and fits well on the back and shoulders. Approximate size is sm. to med.

This is the front view.

  1. Hi Zoe, this is a lovely shawl. I am working on designing stuff and writing my own patterns. It is very time consuming but once you have it done you've got it forever and its easy to reproduce.

  2. What a beautiful shawl. I can no longer crochet so now I knit and am loving it.

Good luck on your blog & I will now follow.

    Peace,

  3. Thank you Violet and Darla for stopping by and giving me encouraging words. Violet, what you said is very true, that is the reason I'm striving to write out instructions for the design because this way I can duplicate and be able to share the design to others. It is very hard and as you said very time consuming but as the saying goes..."no pain no gain".

Darla, I'm sorry that you are no longer able to crochet but I'm glad that you can knit. I've learned to knit basic stitch but I have abandoned it for now in order to try to write out instructions for crochet. Again thank you for stopping by and I'll follow both your blogs, I've enjoyed visiting them.

Have a Happy crocheting or knitting day!
