Crocheted Flower Shawl

I started this shawl yesterday.  My only regret is the yarn I'm currently using is Red Heart.  I want a softer yarn for a shawl so I may turn this into an afghan instead and buy some Caron Simply soft for a shawl.  I got the idea from Pinterest but I'm not able to find a written pattern except a photo of the finish shawl and a diagram.  Here's how my version looks like:

Dogwood blossom motif

This is just a swatch. I have not decided what items to make. Should I make a tablecloth? place mat? Curtain tie back, etc, etc........ endless possibility and unless I make up my mind what to make of this motif, this will just remain a little piece of pretty little motif laying somewhere alongside my stash of yarn, unused, unseen and not good for anything except to collect dust. An Idea is of no use to anyone unless applied and or given physical form to benefit others.

Crocheted Clematis flower

Inspired by my Nellie Moser clematis in bloom, I crocheted this pillow cover. My Nellie Moser plant is gone since I have moved to a different location but the memory of its gorgeous blooms remains with me. What do you think? Do you think it is worth taking my time to try to write a crochet pattern for this?
