How To Crochet Over Yarn Tail In A Foundation Ring

Above photo shows foundation ring.

Coil the yarn tail around the ring between hook and working end of yarn once or twice, see photo below.

Proceed with the rest of the instructions as usual.    Example, Ch3, tr2tog over ring, looks like the photo below.

Hiding the tail this way saves time as it eliminates the work of threading a needle then weaving the yarn tails within those same stitches done in Round 1.
